What is WELLNESS?
Wellness is experienced when navigating life with courage and hopeful expectation. Peace and power are harnessed from within. Struggles are accepted as inevitable and as an opportunity for growth. All emotions of the human experience – including sadness and fear – are given the space to exist. The physical body is honored as a vessel to live life – not as a museum or piece of property. A mindful presence – along with an acceptance of the natural and unpredictable flow of life – provide the foundation for meaningful contribution. There is congruence between one’s physical expression and the organic self. Life is a natural reflection of one’s authentic being. Love for others and the world is expressed as a verb. And the imperfections of life, and of the self, are honored for what they teach, communicate, and provide.
